15 Effective Home Remedies to Relieve CONSTIPATION


Constipation:

Constipation is nothing but a slow movement of stool through the colon. And medically it is defined as three stools per a week or one stool per a week when it goes severe. But this results in difficulty and severe pain in bowel movements. In fact constipation is harmless and also its not a disease, but it might be a symptom of a disease. However, you can overcome the problem at the starting stage, but the issue will be worsened when it is neglected. Because constipation for a long period of time can cause complications like stretching the anus by large and hard stool, tearing the skin which is more painful. Hence, to overcome the problem natural solutions are best opted which are harmless instead of expensive medications. Let’s try some of the remedies given-

The main causes of constipation:

Inadequate intake water and fiber rich diet
Weakness in bowel muscles.
Diabetes
Sluggishness
Colitis
Hyper acidity
Irregular diet
Stress and Depression
Colon diseases
Pregnancy
Hormonal disorders
Inadequate physical activities and exercises
Adequate intake of food like polished rice(Which is fiber less), sooji, items prepared with all-purpose flour etc..
Neglecting constipation at a very starting stage

Common Symptoms of constipation:

Difficulty in passing the stool
Putting more pressure while passing
Loss of appetite
Experiencing a sense of rectal blockage
Sensation like you can’t completely empty the stool from your rectum
Dry, lumpy or hard stools
Infrequent passing of stools (i.e. 3-4 days once)
Abdominal pain while passing
Sometimes there may be bleeding..
Natural remedies to Relieve constipation:

Have one ounce of Aloe Vera juice daily in the morning.
Try to chew and swallow a spoon full of fennel seeds and have a glass full of Luke warm water daily before bed.

Eat a ripe guava fruit daily, the first thing in the morning.
It’s really better to have a glass of juice made with 2-3 oranges daily, the first thing in the morning for a month.
Have a glass of warm milk mixed with 2 teaspoons of almond oil daily before bed and try to have this until you feel better.
Have a spoon of wheat brown powder along with your breakfast or along with the dinner.
Make a habit of having ginger tea instead of tea.
Eat a ripe banana daily after finishing your dinner.
Try to have 2-3 teaspoons of amla juice or 1 teaspoon of amla powder daily, the first thing in the morning.
Better to walk at least 30 minutes after finishing your dinner.
Have at least 3-4 kinds of fruits daily as you wish.
Eat apples twice a day (i.e. Morning and night).
Avoid liquids that contain caffeine, such as coffee and soft drinks which is having a dehydrating effect.
Some people may need to avoid milk, as dairy products may cause constipation for them.
Do physical excercises regularly.
